Method

  • step 1

    Boil the noodles according to pack instructions, then drain and toss with 1 tsp oil.

  • step 2

    Heat the remaining oil in a wok and add the chicken and carrots. Stir-fry for a few minutes. Add the honey, soy and lime juice, bubble for 30 secs, then add the noodles and sesame seeds. Mix well, heat through and sprinkle with the coriander to serve.

Personally I wouldn't touch Coriander with a Barge Pole! There is a significant percentage of us in the population with a genetic alteration which causes Coriander to produce a flavour - in anything - like soap! Disgusting.

Not to toot my own horn but I’m a good cook, I saw this recipe and thought that this looks delicious. I thought it was going well at first but when I got to like 25/30 minutes in it just looked bland and adding some coriander didn’t really make it look or taste any better. Didn’t eat it in the end.…

Delicious! Swapped the carrot for various veg incl. broccoli, peas and beansprouts, fried onion and garlic. The sauce was lovely (even my father, who doesn't usually like sweet sauces, loved it) and the sesame seeds were a delicious addition. Thanks for the recipe!
