Method

  • step 1

    Put all the ingredients into the soup maker, except the coriander, and press the ‘smooth soup’ function. Make sure you don’t fill the soup maker above the max fill line.

  • step 2

    Once the cycle is complete, season and add the coriander. Blend once again until the coriander is mixed well and serve.

Possible silly question, do you add the dried coriander with all the other ingredients and just add the fresh coriander at the end? This really could be clearer unless I’m just over tired?!

Great soup and very warming.

I added a little ground ginger and four cloves of garlic to the above. That took this lovely soup to a "super soup" level of taste and depth.
