Method

  • step 1

Heat the air-fryer to 190C. Mix together 1 tbsp of the oil, the honey, soy sauce and paprika with some salt and pepper in a small bowl. Brush the chicken with the glaze, then air-fry for 8 mins.

  • step 2

Meanwhile, cook the potatoes in a pan of boiling salted water for 5 mins. Drain well, then toss with the remaining ½ tbsp oil, the herbs and some salt and pepper.

  • step 3

Tip the potatoes into the air-fryer, ensuring they sit in a single layer. Cook for a further 15 mins or so, turning halfway through, until the potatoes are crisp and the chicken is well browned and completely cooked through. Serve with a mixed salad, if you like.

Cook’s tip

If you have a two-drawer air fryer, you may prefer to cook the chicken and potatoes in separate drawers. If so, cook the potatoes at 200C for an even crispier finish.

Hi, The timing would be very similar and I would use 200C - if the potatoes aren't quite there but the chicken is ready just rest the chicken for 5-10 mins whilst the potatoes finish to avoid the chicken drying (resting the meat is beneficial anyway for it to remain juicy). We love this kind of…
