Cook rice following pack instructions.

Drain rice and return to pan, stir in the garam masala and cook for 1 min over a low heat. Stir in the peas, flaked almonds and seasoning. Cook for 2-3 mins more, then serve.

Nice change from plain rice (the Hubby said yes to making it again in the future). I made a few adjustments: cut the garam masala by a third (so 2 tsp instead of 1 tbsp), put the peas in boiling water for 30 sec & drained, added 1 tsp margarine or butter in the pan before returning the rice.
