Method

  • step 1

    Heat the grill to high. Beat together the mayonnaise, butter and garlic cloves until smooth. Chop basil, stir through and season with salt and pepper. Put the halves of the ciabatta, sliced lengthways, on a baking tray and spread with the butter. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, then grill for 2-3 mins.

good but you need more then 2 garlics i use 4 and it still was not a lot

Good i use ciabatta the small one so my family got 2 halfes each it is good for the paste dishes

Loved it & so simple to make. Served it with Cauliflower cheese soup so felt it didn't need the parmesan cheese on top, but next time I will depending on the dish.

It worked out well even though i could not find a ciabata and opted for multi grain bread instead. will definitely make it again.
