Champagne has a reputation for being expensive, but finding the best bottle of fizz doesn't have to cost you the earth – especially now that Black Friday has finally arrived.

Since the start of November, we've been busy scouring a range of supermarket and online retailer sites to hunt down the best Black Friday champagne deals, including familiar names like Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, and Bollinger, plus more affordable supermarket-own versions, too.

If you're hosting over the festive period, it might also make sense to buy in bulk, so we've included discounts that are applied when you buy multiple bottles. You'll find offers on individual bottles, too, in case you fancy gifting generously this Christmas.

Black Friday champagne deals from UK online retailers and supermarkets

Save up to 50% on selected champagne with the Good Food Wine Club in partnership with Laithwaites

Champagne from Good Food Wine Club

If you're looking for a good deal on a Laurent Perrier champagne this Black Friday, you're in luck – you can save £14 on a bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée NV at The Good Food Wine Club in partnership with Laithwaites. Buy a case of 12 and you can save 20% – for example, Laithwaites Champagne Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru NV is just £27 per bottle when you order 12, down from £32 per bottle.

There's also £14 off a pinot-noir-based Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut NV, which comes wrapped in a gift box and has notes of candied citrus peel and orchard fruits. Plus, new customers can receive an extra 30% off and free delivery with the code 30OFF.

Save on selected champagnes at Waitrose

Champagne from Waitrose

Among the best Waitrose champagne deals we've seen so far are £18 off a bottle of Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut NV and £20 off a Louis Roederer Collection NV Magnum.

However, if you buy six or more bottles between now and 3 December and have them delivered, you can also get an extra 25% off your order (excluding bottles priced £100 or over).

Up to 25% off champagne and sparkling wine in the Majestic Black Friday sale when you buy any six bottles

Champagne from Majestic

This year's Majestic champagne deals for Black Friday come as part of a 'Mix Any Six and Save' offer, which means you can get money off champagne and sparkling wine when you buy any six bottles from the retailer. You can select six of the same bottle or select a few different styles – the choice is entirely up to you.

The best vintage champagne deals we've spotted so far include £40 off a 2016/2018 Pol Roger (was £110, now £70) and a 2013 Dom Perignon Brut (was £230, now £190). There are offers on magnums, too, including £50 off a Laurent-Perrier rosé champagne magnum (was £200, now £150).

On the more affordable end of the scale, you can save 27% on a Moët and Chandon Brut Imperial champagne, available for £35, and a Devaux Oeil de Perdrix Brut rosé champagne, now just £20. Just bear in mind that these prices are only available when you add six or more bottles to your basket.

Save on premium champagne at Fenwick, plus get an extra 10% off when you buy six bottles

Champagne from Fenwick

If the likes of Taittinger, Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot, and Pol Roger extend beyond your normal drinks budget, you can now save a small amount on selected bottles at Fenwick this Black Friday.

The best Taittinger champagne deals we've found include £35.25 off a bottle of Taittinger Brut NV (was £235, now £199.95), and £25.50 off a bottle of Taittinger Comtes De Champagne (was £170, now £144.50).

There are also Bollinger champagne deals available, including £28.50 off the Bollinger Rose NV Champagne Gift Box (was £190, now £161.50), as well as deals on Moët champagne, with £30 off a Moët Imperiale Collection champagne gift box.

Get up to £45 off champagne at The Whisky Exchange

Champagne from The Whisky Exchange

While the Black Friday savings at The Whisky Exchange aren't as large as other retailers, you can get £45 off a bottle of 2015 Bollinger Grand Annee, which also comes with a gift box (was £175, now £130). This champagne has notes of Mirabelle plum jam, citrus, chocolate and a touch of acidity, and pairs well with mushrooms and meat dishes.

If you're looking for a deal on rosé champagne, you can also save £20 on a bottle of Ruinart Rosé (was £94.95, now £74.95) – which was awarded The Whisky Exchange's 'Champagne of the Month' for October 2024.

Up to 25% off Moët & Chandon and Laurent-Perrier champagne at Virgin Wines

Champagne from Virgin Wines

While Virgin Money offers discounts on wine and champagne throughout the year, there are some decent champagne offers in the retailer's Black Friday Bottle Sale. You can save 25% on bottles of Laurent-Perrier champagne, including a Cuvée Rosé Brut NV (was £79.99, now £59.99) and La Cuvée NV (was £52.99, now £39.99).

There are some small deals on Moët champagne, too, including £8 off a bottle of Brut Imperial NV and £6 off a Brut Rosé NV. Better discounts can be found on white, red and rosé wine – see our roundup of the best wine deals to find the biggest savings.

Save up to 20% on selected Bollinger champagne at Fortnum & Mason

Champagne from Fortnum and Mason

We don't often see Fortnum and Mason champagne deals and the luxury department store doesn't usually participate in Black Friday, either. However, there are now offers on two styles of Bollinger champagne: a Bollinger Special Cuvée Champagne NV (was £63, now £50) and a Bollinger Rosé Champagne NV (was £75, now £60).

If you're stocking up on bubbly for Christmas or New Year, you can also save 10% when you buy any six bottles. Any orders over £150 also include free delivery.

15% off selected champagne at Perfect Cellar, plus a free bottle when you spend over £200

Champagne from Perfect Cellar

There's a good range of champagne offers to suit most budgets at Perfect Cellar this Black Friday – whether you want to splash on a 2004 Laurent-Perrier Alexandra Rose, worth £322.96 (down from £379.95), or would prefer something on the more affordable end – like a Emile Depuis Brut NV, now £29.71 with 15% off.

A free bottle of champagne worth £34.95 is also included with orders over £200, which won't save you much, but if you're planning on purchasing that much bubbly anyway, it's a nice little extra to have thrown in.

How do we find and select Black Friday champagne deals

Shopping for deals during Black Friday can be hectic and overwhelming, but that's where we come in. We're doing all the hard work for you, and keeping a close eye on what the most popular champagne retailers are currently offering to help you find the best deals out there. Prices can fluctuate as demand grows and products go out of stock, so we'll always highlight any increases or reductions in cost, too.

We also only feature deals from brands we trust. However, that doesn't mean we just look at the big supermarkets and larger online retailers, like Majestic or Laithwaites. We look at smaller brands, too, including specialist wine retailers that might be offering prices that their larger counterparts can't. Read more advice on shopping safely in our guide on how to avoid online scams.

How to get a good champagne deal on Black Friday

  • Set a budget and stick to it: Remember to only spend on what you can afford, and set a budget before you start shopping for deals so you're aren't led astray. Only buy when you see a price you're completely happy with.
  • Buy in bulk: But only if you planning to do so anyway, or you think you might need it. There's no point spending extra money for the sake of it, but if it's more cost-efficient, you can save with 'buy more to save' deals from certain supermarkets or online retailers. For instance, Majestic is offering up to 25% off champagne and sparkling wine when you buy any six bottles.
  • Look for extra offers: Some retailers include additional perks on top of a deal, like free delivery, discounts for new customers, or promo codes when you sign up to their newsletter.
