Ingredients
- 1.2 kg eel
- 5 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 50 g ground almond
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 cup of grated tomato
- 1.2 l water
- 0.5 kg potatoes
- Salt to taste
Method
- STEP 1Wash and clean eel well and cut in to even bite size pieces.
- STEP 2Heat the oil in a saucepan, and add a mixture prepared with the paprika, garlic, ground almond and cayenne pepper.
- STEP 3After 30 seconds add the grated tomato and water.
- STEP 4Bring to a boil then add the eel and chopped potatoes.
- STEP 5Simmer for 15 minutes.
- STEP 6Serve immediately.
