    Method

    • step 1

Put the flour, salt, sugar and yeast together in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
    • step 2

Tear olives with your fingers (you can chop them up, if you'd prefer to) and add to the dough and mix well. Using your finger, make a dip in the dough and pour in the water and oil.
    • step 3

Mix with a fork until its sticky. Lightly sieve the worktop with flour, and knead the dough on the table. Put back into the bowl, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 45-60 mins.
    • step 4

      Preheat oven at 210ºC Fan/ 230ºC/Gas 8
    • step 5

Tear the dough into 8 small balls, put in a lined baking tray and grase the dough balls.
    • step 6

Cook for 10 mins, until ready.

Managed to make an okay olive bread based on previous baking experience but this recipe is incoherent. I agree with a previous reviewer that you should keep looking for another recipe! :(

First time making bread and this was so easy . Made an olive loaf instead of rolls. In oven for 20 minutes. Ate straight away for lunch so still warm . Delicious 😋 Great success !

Not a very helpful recipe. Mine taste ok but look nothing like the ones in the photo, plus instructions were so vague. "Cook for 10 mins, until ready" - how am I meant to know what they're supposed to look like for them to be 'ready'?

Great idea for a recipe, but, where does the rosemary get added and what do you grease with the olive oil?
