  • 120g Margarine
  • 4 Mars Bars or a supermarket equivalent
  • 150g Milk chocolate
  • 300g Rice Crispies or a supermarket equivalent

    Method

    • step 1

      Cut the Mars Bars into small slices and melt with the margarine in a glass bowl over a saucepan of boiling water.
    • step 2

      Take off the heat and mix in the Rice Crispies one cup at a time until the mixture is only slightly gooey.
    • step 3

      Spoon the mixture into a tray and spread out evenly.
    • step 4

      Heat up the milk chocolate in a glass bowl and spoon evenly over the Crispies.
    • step 5

      Leave to cool slightly then place in the fridge for a few hours until set.

    I would give no stars if possible Too many crispies and not enough mars bars. Mistakingly used wrong recipe and 150 grams crispies in about right with 6 multipack mars bars Worst recipe ever

    Absolutely terrible recipe. Just left with mess that needs to be thrown away. Dire. If or was possible to give a 0 star rating, that's what I would give.

    What a ridiculous and dramatic comment. A)This recipe does not require the use of an oven B)This recipe cannot give you salmonella , if you think you had salmonella from the chocolate, then take that up with the supplier.
