Nutribullet Juicer 01515 summary
You’ll know the Nutribullet brand because of their powerful blenders. So, it was only a matter of time before they moved into the world of juicers. The 01515 juicer is an entry level model available for just £100.
This centrifugal juicer comes with just two settings: high and low. It has simple and easy to use controls and is equally easy to clean after use. This model isn’t as high quality as other models we’ve tested that can be up to five-times the price, but if you’re after a simple juicer and are not looking to break the bank, this model is worth considering.

How easy is the Nutribullet Juicer 01515 to use?
This model comes ready assembled, making it easy to see how the whole juicer fits together. For added ease, the manual also clearly explains it in a useful step by step guide.
It’s not the smallest model on the market and we felt it was a little plasticky looking, but at £100 we shouldn’t expect the same finish as more expensive contemporaries.
There are just two settings to get to know: low and high. The manual details which ingredients are best suited to each speed: generally, leafy greens should be processed on low, hard fruits and veggies on fast. For stability, plastic suction pads anchor the juicer to your work surface.
Two accessories are included: a scrubbing brush and a generously sized pitcher. This doubles as a travel cup when you use the provided lid with handy inbuilt foam separator.
The juice spout comes with a stopper and is also positioned high enough on the juicer for you to pour your juice straight into a glass – ideal for one or two people.
Finally, for easy clean up, all of the parts are dishwasher safe.
Results
We put this juicer to the test by making a simple kale, apple, ginger & carrot juice. We wanted to see how this model tackled firm and fibrous veggies, leafy greens and other juicing staples.
This juicer processed the ingredients well overall. The juice came out a slightly grey-green colour, which indicated that the kale hadn’t been processed as well as it could have been (which would have made it a more vibrant green). This was confirmed when we inspected the discard waste and found large chunks of un-juiced kale. We also found a couple of bits of carrot and apple, too.
The juice was pleasant tasting, but slightly grainy.
How sustainable is the Nutribullet Juicer 01515?
Nutribullet have taken some sustainability steps when it comes to this juicer, which is encouraging to see. The manual details how to recycle the juicer after use and also points the user to the Nutribullet website where spare parts are available to buy.
The accompanying recipe book also includes some recipes that use the waste pulp produced after juicing. This is something we were looking for from all of the juicers we tested.
Although a great deal of plastic is used to package the component parts, the manual states that all elements are recyclable.
Conclusion
If you’re just getting into juicing at need a cheap and cheerful model to get you started, this Nutribullet juicer is a great entry-level model.
It’s simple to put together, requires minimal clean up and juices well considering the price. It’s not the best when it comes to juicing leafy greens, but harder fruits and vegetables fared well. While the juice won’t be super smooth, this machine does yield a good amount of juice, and there are even recipes included that let you know what to do with the leftover waste.
