Orange? A whole orange? Zest? Juice? Slice? What?!

Has anyone made it without liquid smoke ?

Hi, thanks for your question. It's fine to leave it out - you'll still get a good bbq sauce, just less of the smoked flavours. Best wishes, BBC Good Food Team.

Delicious!!! I change the amounts to make a cup full, but it works out brilliantly every time. Only changes - garlic granules and I steal a little orange juice from my wife's supply instead of using a fresh orange.

Far too sugary and sweet. Leave to simmer longer for a thicker sauce.

Made to the recipe, it was runnier than I expected but very tasty. Will definitely be making again and again!
