Method

  • step 1

    Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and cook the noodles following the packet instructions.

  • step 2

    Meanwhile, pan-fry the broccoli in a splash of sesame oil for a couple of minutes, then add the crushed garlic and chilli flakes. Fry for a further minute or two, then add the golden syrup, soy sauce, 1 tbsp of sesame oil, a squeeze of lime juice, some cracked black pepper, and a tbsp of the cooking water from the noodles. Simmer for a couple of minutes then drain the noodles, add them to the pan, stir and then serve.

Beautiful Was so tasty.. I think next time unfortunately I would take chillis out to make it family friendly for 12 year old.. but hubby and I loved it.
