Method

  • step 1

    Dip sticks of courgettes in milk, then coat lightly in seasoned plain flour.

  • step 2

    Deep fry in very hot olive oil (a wok is ideal for this) for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain and serve with grilled, chargrilled or panfried fish or steaks.

Tasted really good. I used oat milk for dairy free and whole meal plain flour. Yum!

Couldn't be simpler and they are really delicious. I used unsweetened soya milk because they needed to be dairy free...

Sooooo tasty! First time I've done these myself, usually have them in my favourite italian, these taste just as good. I used soya milk. Off to make some more!

Aubergines are also very nice in this way I usually make thin pancake butter for them with some spices... Serve it with chips and at least two dips..garlic lemon mayo and ketchup mixed with sweet mustard....lovely!

Very easy and tasty. Sprinkle a little salt on top and we had these with a homemade blue cheese dip.
