Method

  • step 1

    Fill a glass with ice and if using, add up to 15ml of lime juice or lime cordial (or to your taste). Pour the advocaat and lemonade over the ice and stir gently until the outside of the glass feels cold.

    Garnish with the maraschino cherry.

A snowball is much better if done with snowy crushed ice, instead of solid ice cubes.

This is a delicious cocktail, I like to add an extra egg yolk or two!

If you substitute the lemonade with prosecco add a dash of dry sherry with the advocaat and shake in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice then pour over ice into a cocktail glass you end up with heaven in a glass.
