    Measure out all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir together well. They can also be lightly mixed in a blender or crushed using a pestle and mortar to create a finer powder, if you prefer. Sprinkle over chicken as a seasoning before baking, roasting or frying.

Really useful seasoning mix. I use it when making fajitas but it's a quick all-round tasty seasoning for all kinds of things. I make a large jar of it, using 2 tablespoonfuls of everything instead of 1tsp of each ingredient. It's on standby in my herbs and spices drawer all the time.

I find this is best if you put the above ingredients into some olive oil and then marinade the chicken overnight. I cut the chicken into one inch thick strips which is how it was served to me in a restaurant
