Method
step 1
Pierce the sausages a few times all over using a sharp knife (this is optional, but will help release more fat). Arrange the sausages in a single layer in an air fryer basket.
step 2
Set the air fryer to 180C and cook for 10-15 mins, turning every 5 mins, until the sausages are cooked through. If you have a meat thermometer, check they have reached 75C in the middle. Serve as a side for breakfast or in buns.

No! This is terrible advice! On the fat side anyway. Don't ever prick a sausage, as it will release all the healthy, tasty fats that are necessary to keep the meat flavoursome! Fat does NOT make you fat, but adds flavour to all your foods. Dietitians tell you to follow a low-fat or fat free diet,…

Not sure how healthy the saturated fat in sausages is, tbh. Fat doesn't make you fat per se, agreed, but excessive calories will, although fat gives a lot of flavour as you say. You can lose weight on a low fat diet or an Atkin's diet if you eat fewer calories than you use. Although not everyone…

Sausages are so easy to cook and they taste so good. Extra fat is removed and with the easy to clean tray there's no spatter of fat on your cooker to clean. The tray is a wipe with a damp cloth.

My sausages took 20 mins at 180C but that could have been because they were cumberland and slightly larger. But they were really good and I cooked them in a silicon insert so not much mess to wash up. Would definitely cook them this way again.

I have followed other recipes with great success, but cooking sausages proved more problematic. At the temp/timings here they were a bit pale, yet the internal temp indicated they were overcooked (which they were, just). I found it better to preheat the fryer (not something I often do), then use a…

To be honest I bought a Dual Bin Fryer but realised there were 'many' fryers out there - sods law, typical mistake. Anyhow after a lot of looking I bought an Oven Air Fryer 21L with shelves and rotisserie - compared to the normal 9L which is useless and for same money. It would be good to include…
