  • 3 Tbsp Mirrin
  • 3 Tbsp Sake
  • 4 Tbsp Dark Soy
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

    Method

    • step 1

This is the easiest thing in the world to do. Chuck everything in a saucepan, bring to to boil, reduce to gentle simmer, ready five minutes later. You’re done! If you want to make the sauce into a marinade, add minced garlic and ginger (Tbsp of each), a Tsp of Chinese Five Spice, a very healthy splash of Worcestershire Sauce, finely snipped chillies (kitchen scissors are your friend!) to taste (six for me) and extra Soy and Maple syrup is desired. It’s all down to YOUR personal tastes.
