- Onion chopped - crushed garlic clove
- 500g minced steak
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- I tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- large tin red kidney beans drained and rinsed
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Veg stock cube
Method
step 1
Heat oil in pan Add onion and fry until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 min morestep 2
Add mince and brown.step 3
Add all spices mix throughly and fry for 1-2 mins Add marjoram, tom puree and chopped tomatoes plus half can of water Add veg stock cube. Cook for 20 minsstep 4
Add kidney beans cook for another 10-15 mins. Serve with basmati rice or garlic bread
