- 750g red cabbage
- 350g Bramley apples
- 50g butter
- 250g onions
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg ;cinamon
- 4tbsp brown sugar
- 4tbsp white wine vinegar
Method
step 1
Prepare the oven 160c/140c shred the cabbage.step 2
Core and finely chop apples and soften them in butter for about 5 mins.peel and finely chop the onions add to apples and garlicstep 3
Soften for 5 mins then add sugar and spices.tip in cabbage mix then add vinegar and mix, put Mixture in casserole dish and cover put in oven for 3 hrs until soft leave to stand in oven over night to mature taste.then put in bags to freeze.
