  • 1.25 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

    Method

    • step 1

      mix dry ingerdients; add wet ingredients. beat together till smooth. use a whisk to get lots of air into the mix.
    • step 2

      cook in pre-heated non stick or slightly greased fry pan.
    • step 3

      serve in a tall stack with glugs of real maple syrup, bacon
