Filling

  • 50g butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 33g dessicated coconut

Cake

  • 50g butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 33g dessicated coconut
  • 170g sugar
  • 50g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 185ml milk
  • 225g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

    Method

    • step 1

      Filling Melt butter and mix all ingredients together.
    • step 2

      Cake Beat butter, sugar, egg and milk till well mixed.
    • step 3

      Add sifted dry ingredients
    • step 4

      Spread half of the cake batter in a greased ring mould. Sprinkle 2/3 of the filling over.
    • step 5

      Add rest of cake batter. Sprinkle over rest of the filling.
    • step 6

      Cook for 30-40min @ 180°C
