Cake

  • 4 oz margarine
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz self raising flour
  • (Angela normally makes the above x 3)
  • For chocolate cake subsist some of flour for drinking chocolate & some for icing sugar on topping

Topping

  • 4 oz margarine
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz self raising flour

  • 1 oz margarine
  • add icing sugar until desired consistency is reached ( approx 4 oz)
  • few drops of vanilla essence
  • For bigger cake 4 x ingredients

    Method

    • step 1

      Melt margarine in microwave
    • step 2

      Add sugar, cream together.
    • step 3

      Add flour and egg mix together.
    • step 4

      Bake in oven at 150 for cake about 180 for buns. Cake approx 30 minutes Buns approx 15 minutes until firm to touch.
    • step 5

      For a cake in a roasting tin 3 x ingredients, line roasting dish with greaseproof paper, greasing well. It will take about 1 hour to cook.
