  • 110g plain flour
  • 40g castor sugar
  • 50g margarine
  • 1 tbspn syrup
  • 1 tspn ginger
  • 1 tspn bicarbonate of soda

    Method

    • step 1

      Mix the butter and sugar together until its light and fluffy.
    • step 2

      Sieve the flour into the mixture.
    • step 3

      Add the syrup, ginger and bicarb.
    • step 4

      Cook for roughly 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
