- 2 tbsp oil/ghee
- 6 tomatoes wedged
- 1 inch ginger matchsticked
- chillies - 2-3
- garlic
- 1 tbsp garam masala

- tomato puree - 750ml water & 1 tube of puree (200g)

- 2 tsp Coriander
- 2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 tsp cumin
Method
step 1
Heat the oil and cook onion till soft with a pinch of saltstep 2
Add garlic, ginger, chillies and cook to softstep 3
Add tomatoes and raise heat. Cook till they start breaking upstep 4
add spices and stir throughstep 5
add chicken and coat in mixturestep 6
Add tomato puree mixturestep 7
reduce heat and put a lid on and reduce the saucestep 8
add garam masala at the end
