for the bread
- 500g strong plain flour 1 tablespoon yeast
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 300ml warm water
- 2 teaspoon parsley or mixed herbs
Method
step 1
sieve the flour in the bowl and rub in 1 teaspoon salt and all the yeaststep 2
add warm water and mix until it has started to come togetherstep 3
add 3 tablespoons oil and knead in the bowlstep 4
take out of the bowl and knead on the surface you will not need more flour as the oil will combine with the bread doughstep 5
put on a tray with baking parchment and spread out to the cornersstep 6
leave in a warm place for an hour or until it has doubled in sizestep 7
spread the rest of the oil over the top followed by the parsley or mixed herbsstep 8
put in the oven for 20-25 minutesstep 9
