Optional ingredients (toppings)
- 6 tablespoons all purpose flour (whole wheat works too)
- 1 scoop (28g) cinnamon roll flavour whey protein (vanilla works too)
- 2 packets splenda, or any other sweetener of your choice
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 cup milk (8 tbsp)

- (For icing) 4 teaspoons powdered sugar
- OR
- 2-4 tablespoons sprinkles
- OR
- Any other toppings you'd prefer (fruit, vanilla sauce, ready made frosting, marshmallows, syrup, etc.)
Method
step 1
Combine all the dry ingredients into bowl and mix until well combined.step 2
Add egg, melted butter, and milk. Whisk with fork until thoroughly mixed into batter consistency.step 3
Pour half (approx. 115g of batter) into small mug or bowl to yield one serving. If you're using a topping such as marshmallows or sprinkles, I recommend mixing them into the batter as well.step 4
Microwave for 40-70 seconds. It might need longer or shorter depending on microwave and wattage but I've found this to be a fairly accurate range.step 5
If you would like to add a glaze, mix 4 teaspoons powdered sugar with a few drops water and stir, then drizzle onto cake. Enjoy :)
