It’s easy to transform even the simplest side dish into a showstopper with a little bit of Lurpak^®. Use it to fry your Brussels sprouts, add a knob to your braised cabbage, melt and pour it over your vegetables before roasting them, or generously coat your roast potatoes with it.

The magic is in the making

Since 1901, Lurpak^® has used only the highest quality ingredients to create its distinctively creamy, delicate and fresh taste.

Roughly 20kg of whole Danish milk goes into making every 1kg of butter, and the most valuable part – the cream – is carefully ripened before the butter making process even starts. Lactic cultures are then added, so that unmistakable creaminess combines with a fresh, slightly aromatic note to give Lurpak^® its characteristic flavour.

That’s it. Nothing more is added, apart from a pinch of salt to the Slightly Salted varieties. Even the spreadable products feature just a few natural ingredients that are added where needed, such as rapeseed oil or garlic, ensuring neither the quality nor taste is diminished.
