Bosch Styline summary
Multi-temperature kettles tend to be priced at the premium end of the market, so we think this popular model is particularly well-priced.
The Styline has all the bells and whistles you could need: four temperature points (70C, 80C, 90C and 100C), plus a 'keep warm' function designed to keep water hot for up to 30 mins. The outer casing is designed to keep the kettle cool to the touch, too.
The water gauge is wide and very easy to see, with measurements in both litres and cups. The base is thoughtfully designed – it’s rectangular and deeper than it is wide, so it saves precious worktop space.
The kettle itself is very solid and modern-looking. We tested the white model, but there's also a black version, so you can choose which suits your kitchen best. The top third of each is sleek stainless steel. We like the large lid release button situated flush in the lid, and the lid itself is notably big, which makes filling easier.
To use, press the 'minus' or 'plus' buttons on the base to select the temperature, then watch as each button lights up to show its progress. There’s a single (rather quiet) beep when i's finished. The kettle scores highly on speed, averaging 2 mins for boiling a litre.
