Made this at the weekend and took it to a bonfire party. It went down a treat. Got so much praise for it and it was one of the easiest recipes I've made. I used crunchie bars as my additional sweets to add as I don't like Turkish delight.

question

When the ingredients says melt the chocolate, I assume that means the crunchie (or one of the ones recommended) at the same time, or is that meant to go in with the "sweets"? i am thinking the "sweets" are just the marsh mellows?

LibertyGoodFoodTeam

Hi Paul, the chocolate that's being melted is the dark chocolate and then the crunchie ect is to be added in with the sweets. Hope this helps! Best, Liberty

I've just discovered this recipe and the family absolutely LOVE them! I reduced the amount of rich teas by about 1/3 and swapped in chunks of scottish shortbread fingers cut into little cubes. I use mini marshmallows to avoid the faff of cutting up big ones. I also followed advice from here and now…
