  • 4 medium sized ripe bananas
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 500ml whipping cream

    Method

    • step 1

      Peel and chop bananas. Whizz in a blender or food processor with the sugar and lemon juice.
    • step 2

      Pour in the cream and mix well.
    • step 3

      Pour into a plastic box or ice cream maker for freezing.
    • step 4

      Stir as ice crystals begin to form (if you want).
    • step 5

      Remove from freezer 15 mins before serving.
    • step 6

      Serve with chocolate sauce.
