Method

  • step 1

    Steam the broccoli for 5 mins until tender. Meanwhile, heat the oil and butter in a pan, then fry the garlic and chilli for 1 min.

  • step 2

    Add the breadcrumbs, then fry for 5 mins until crisp. Season the broccoli, arrange in a dish, then scatter over the spicy breadcrumbs and serve immediately.

I love this - I use Panko breadcrumbs and add in a few dried onions to add even more taste and texture

Very nice, a tasty way to serve up broccoli, I used half crisp crumbs (potato crisps crouched up) and half breadcrumbs. First time in a long time no veggies left on any of families plates!
