- 600g faba beans (or haricot or butterbeans)
- 225g chorizo sausage
- 1 bulb garlic peeled but not chopped
- 300g streaky bacon
- 160g black pudding
- 2 medium onions
- 1 litre chicken stock
- 2 tsp paprika
Method
step 1
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion and garlic until golden. Add the chorizo, black pudding, bacon, beans and stock and cook slowlyuntil it starts to foam.step 2
Add the paprika and continue to cook slowly for another 2.5 hours. Check the beans remain covered by adding water if necessary.
