Ingredients
For the Sausages:
- 4X Sausages
- Olive Oil
For the Mash:
- 4X Large Poatoes
- 1 tsp Milk
- 1 tsp Margarine
- Seasoning
For the Gravy:
- 1X Onion
- Gravy Granules
Method
- STEP 1Equipment:
- STEP 2Measuring spoon,
- STEP 3Saucepan,
- STEP 4Masher,
- STEP 5Dish,
- STEP 6Chopping board,
- STEP 7Sharp knife,
- STEP 8Colander,
- STEP 9Peeler,
- STEP 10Big spoon,
- STEP 11and a Ladel
- STEP 12For the sausages:
- STEP 13Heat the oil in dish.
- STEP 14After the oil has been heated, add the sausages to the dish and put in the oven that is heated to 160*C.
- STEP 15Cook the sausages for 40 mins.
- STEP 16After 20 mins, turn over sausages.
- STEP 17For the Potatoes:
- STEP 18Start to peel the potatoes until no skin remains.
- STEP 19Chop the potatoes into chunks.
- STEP 20Boil the potatoes in half a pan of water for 20 - 25 mins.
- STEP 21Drain potatoes using the colander. Put the potatoes back in the pan and mash.
- STEP 22Add in the butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- STEP 23For the Gravy:
- STEP 24Peel and chop the onions.
- STEP 25Fry onions until soft.
- STEP 26Whilst onions are frying, mix gravy granules with boiling water.
- STEP 27Then add gravy to the onions.
- STEP 28For Presentation of dish:
- STEP 29Add the sausages onto a plate.
- STEP 30Next to the sausages, add a big spoonful of mash.
- STEP 31With the ladel, pick up the gravy and pour over the sausgaes and mash.
- STEP 32And then... TA-DA! You have made a brilliant Sausage and Mash with Onion Gravy!
