  • 20cm cake tin
  • 125g sugar
  • 125g self raising flour
  • 125g butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1tblsp whole milk
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2tsp vanilla paste

    Method

    • step 1

      preheat oven to 180°
    • step 2

      grease and line tin
    • step 3

      cream sugar and butter until smooth
    • step 4

      beat in the eggs
    • step 5

      add in the vanilla paste
    • step 6

      sift in the flour and cinnamon
    • step 7

      add in the milk
    • step 8

      pour into tin and smooth out until even
    • step 9

      bake for 20-25mins
    • step 10

      leave to cool for 5mins before removing from the tin
    • step 11

      place on wire rack until cool
    • step 12

      cut, serve and enjoy!
