  • 1 large onion finely diced
  • 500ml Passata
  • 4 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 Cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 TBSP Paprika
  • 4 TBSP Honey
  • 3 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 TSP Fennel Seeds ground
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • 1/4 TSP Chilli Flakes

    Method

    • step 1

      Add a little olive oil to the pan and add the onion and garlic cooking gently for 5 mins.
    • step 2

      Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and simmer gently for another 5 mins.
    • step 3

      You can leave the BBQ sauce like this or blend it for a smoother texture.
    • step 4

      You can then cover and put in the fridge for up to 3 days but I'm sure it'll be gone before then!
