Ingredients

  • 3 limes, cut into wedges
  • ice
  • 200ml bourbon
  • 90ml elderflower liqueur
  • ginger ale, for topping up
  • crystallised ginger and mint sprigs, to garnish

Method

  • STEP 1

    Muddle the lime wedges in a large pitcher using a long-handled spoon or muddler.

  • STEP 2

    Tip some ice, the bourbon and elderflower liqueur into the pitcher and top up with ginger ale. Stir well. Thread a few pieces of crystallised ginger onto a cocktail stick and use this to garnish the drink, along with a few sprigs of mint.
