Method

  • step 1

    Cook the beans in a pan of boiling water for 3 mins until tender. Drain. Heat the sesame oil, then cook ginger and garlic for 1 min until fragrant. Stir in the beans, season and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook for 30 secs until hot through.

This recipe was only ok in my opinion. Whilst the ginger and garlic was fragrant when frying only the oil transferred onto the beans. I used a decent sized garlic clove and a thumbnail size of ginger. I will use more next time. There will be a next time, and hopefully I can update the rating.

Whole family love this and it goes with so many dishes. It is a BBQ staple and goes great with chicken. We also often take to serve cold on picnics, and the kids love it. 5 stars
