Method

  • step 1

    Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, add the brussels sprouts and cook for 5 mins. Drain and refresh in cold water.

  • step 2

    Toss the sprouts with all the other ingredients in a bowl and season with a pinch of salt and a good grinding of black pepper. Tip onto a large baking tray in a single layer. Put in the oven and roast for 30 mins, tossing halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the sprouts are golden and tender.

How long does it take to reheat them after they've been frozen and defrosted.

sorry but you do need NOT to boil the sprouts first ,just put some sesame oil over them and roast for 30 minutes depending on the size of your sprouts,fantastic.

Delicious recipe thank you .we cooked on Christmas day..can I freeze the cold left over today (boxing day ) as I'm not sure if the chestnut will freeze well.. Thanks

Hi, thanks for your question. We haven't tried this in an air fry so can't give timings I'm afraid, although things generally cook quite a bit more quickly in the air fryer than the oven. We'd suggest referring to the user manual for a similar recipe to use as guidance. We hope this helps. Best…
