Method

  • step 1

    Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Snap any woody tips off the asparagus where they naturally break apart. Put on a roasting tray, drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 12 mins until they are tender.

How long on air fryer? And settings?

Hi, thanks for your question. We haven't tested this in the air fryer but would estimate around 7-8 mins on 180 or 200C. We hope this helps, BBC Good Food Team.

The timing very much depends on the size of the asapragus spears. Thick ones do take well over 10 minutes.
