- 450g frozen peas
- 25g unsalted buttersoftened
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley leavesroughly chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh mint leavesroughly chopped
- pinch of chilli flakes(optional)
- lemon wedgesto serve

Method
step 1
Cook the peas in a pan of boiling water according to pack instructions. Drain well, then use a fork to roughly mash some of the peas. Keep most of them whole.
step 2
Return to the pan and add the butter, olive oil, herbs and chilli flakes, if using. Stir well to combine with a big pinch each of salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl with the lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over.
