Method
step 1
Pour the tequila, triple sec and 50ml cold water into a 250ml bottle. Shake well and chill until needed. Will keep chilled for a month.
step 2
To gift, bottle the clementine and lime juices in 100ml bottles, or put two clementines and two limes in the box or bag, along with the cocktail base. For the salt rim mix, combine the salt, sugar and zest in a small jam jar or tin, seal and add to the kit.
step 3
Include a card with these instructions for making the drink: Chill the cocktail base. Dampen the rims of two margarita glasses or tumblers and dip into the salt rim mix. Drop a couple of ice cubes into each glass, then pour in the cocktail base and top each drink with 25ml clementine juice and 25ml lime juice. Stir and serve.
