Method

  • step 1

Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Beat the salted butter, vanilla and sugar together with an electric whisk until pale and fluffy. Sift over the flour and beat again until just combined. Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a medium star nozzle.

  • step 2

Pipe the dough in small 5cm swirls on one large or two smaller baking trays lined with baking parchment, spacing them apart to allow for them to spread. Bake for 15-20 mins until pale golden.

  • step 3

Leave to cool on the trays for 5 mins, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

question

How long would you say they last for in a jar?

This recipe is a complete waste of ingredients. There is not enough moisture in the recipe to make a pipeable dough. Even if you try and cook the dough you end up with - all you get is a greasy mess in the oven. Whoever uploaded this recipe needs to look at it again and put it right.

I’m no baker but have made these cookies several times now. Very easy and tasty. A favourite in our house!

Pretty dissapointing that this just resulted in melted cookies. Don't bother making this it's not going to work. Wasted alot of ingredients making this. You should remove this recipe!!!
