Crispy sesame lemon chicken
Make our crispy sesame lemon chicken for a quick, easy and flavour-packed family dinner. Scatter with spring onions and serve with your favourite sides.
Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Arrange the chicken breasts (skin-side up, if not using skinless) in a baking tray or dish lined with baking parchment. Combine the sugar, spices, herbs, salt and ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper, then spoon a quarter of the spice mix over each chicken breast and rub it all over the meat.
Bake the chicken breasts for 25-30 mins until cooked through – the spice mix coating will darken and the sugar will caramelise. Serve the chicken with potato wedges and green veg, if you like.
