Method

  • step 1

Soak 4 wooden skewers in water for 30 mins (this stops them burning.) Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Blend the honey, mustard and oil with seasoning.

  • step 2

To assemble, thread veg onto skewers and brush with glaze. Cook for 25-30 mins in the oven or on the barbecue, brushing with any remaining glaze before serving.

The marinade is lovely. I wouldn’t personally use courgettes again though, they produce too much water during the cooking process and the marinade just slid off

Lovely marinade. Quick, easy, cheap and tasty. I totally agree with the comments/recommendations of previous comments to double the quantity.

Great, and really easy to make. Wish I'd read the comments before as it definitely was not enough glaze. Will make again but double it next time.

A really good way to add veggies to a barbecue. Easy to make and good to eat with any barbecued meat. I do think you need more glaze than the recipe calls for and agree with other comments about using twice as much. Also vary the veg, shallots and mushrooms are excellent - just see what is in…

SO DELICIOUS. I barbecued these for my family today, cooked them on foil on top of the barbecue so they didn't get too blackened, my family loved them!
