I’m Max La Manna, and I’m thrilled to announce my takeover of the Good Food app! As a chef passionate about low-waste cooking, I’m here to share tips, recipes, and inspiration to help you make the most of every ingredient.

For the next two weeks, dive into my exclusive collection of low-waste recipes, designed to transform kitchen scraps into delicious meals. From spicy root-to-stem cauliflower buffalo wings to takeaway-style mushroom noodles and tofu butter chicken, you’ll find ways to turn leftovers into flavoursome dinners.

Join me in my in-app cook-along videos where I’ll reveal simple swaps and clever techniques to reduce food waste. Plus, I’ll be answering your burning questions on sustainable cooking practices over on the @goodfoodeveryday comment section.

Let’s make a positive impact on our plates and the planet. Together, we can create delicious, mindful meals that nourish us and respect the environment.

Happy cooking!

You’ve overcharged me by advertising a 0.99 for 6 months the £24.99. You’ve charged me £24.99 today. I also believed I was signing up to a bbc app, the only reason I subscribed

Use AI (chatGPT) to come up with some great recipes using all/some of the items you have in your cupboard. I’ve been dosing this for the last 6 months and it’s massively cut down my waste AND food bills! I’ve yet to have a bad meal!

The only downer about this tip - which is brilliant! - is the amount of power that AI uses :( I have no idea of course what it uses to create delicious recipes, but it’s the one thing that isn’t really being talked about and one which we probably need to consider. Sorry for the downer :(
