For this craft, you will need:
- 1 cardboard tube from a roll of kitchen paper
- scissors
- leftover Christmas wrapping paper
- glue
- foliage or other decorations (we used dried oranges and holly)
Step 1: Preparing the Cardboard Rings
Carefully cut the cardboard tube into four 4cm-wide rings using scissors, then set aside.
Step 2: Covering the Rings with Wrapping Paper
Cut leftover Christmas wrapping paper into four 9 x 15cm strips, then use these to cover the rings. Secure the wrapping paper on the inside of the rings using glue, making sure the inside is smooth and flat. The paper should overlap in the middle to completely cover the rings.
Step 3: Decorating and Finishing the Napkin Rings
Glue decorations over the paper joins. Leave to dry for at least 1 hr before slipping the rings over napkins. Will keep for 4 hrs on the table if using fresh foliage.
