Sarah has spent the last 20 years hopping on and off planes, trains and donkeys in the name of work. She was editor and dept editor of the Independent on Sunday‘s travel pages from 1996-2000, and since then has lived between London and New York writing for a number of national broadsheets.
When she is not ‘out of office’ on a trip she is a contributing editor for BBC Good Food and Associate Editor for National Geographic Traveller (UK). Her stories have appeared in The Independent and Independent on Sunday, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times, The Express, The Sun, The Scotsman and The Evening Standard, along with magazines including National Geographic Traveller (UK), Olive, Wanderlust, Marie Claire, Telegraph Ultra and ABTA Magazine.
