Adam Handling MBE made history by becoming the first-ever apprentice chef at Gleneagles. He was later Fairmont’s youngest ever head chef. His culinary empire includes Frog by Adam Handling (his flagship restaurant), The Loch & The Tyne by Adam Handling, Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling and Eve Bar by Adam Handling.
Adam is also an accomplished author, with books such as Smile or Get Out of the Kitchen, Frog and Why Waste? to his name. He has won numerous awards, including Scottish Chef of the Year, British Culinary Federation's Chef of the Year, and Chef of the Year in the Food & Travel Awards. Notably, he was recognised in the Caterer's '30 under 30 to watch' and received Restaurateur of the Year in the British GQ Food and Drink Awards in 2020.
In 2022, Adam was appointed Ambassador to the UK Government's GREAT campaign, promoting British hospitality talents globally. In 2023, he was crowned BBC TV's Great British Menu 'Champion of Champions.' You can follow Adam on Instagram at @adamhandling.
