Ninja is renowned for creating intuitive, high-performing air-fryers, but most of its models have only ever been sold in traditional black or grey colourways. That was until the brand's latest partnership with Currys, which sees the reveal of a brand new white edition of the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air-fryer.

Available exclusively at Currys, the AF400UK in white is a great pick for large households thanks to its sizeable 9.5-litre capacity. With two independent zones and six functions to choose from, it's also versatile and can feed up to eight people.

Here, we take at look at what you can expect from the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone AF400UKWH, and spotlight some of the best air-fryer recipes you can make with this model.

How does the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone AF400UKWH air-fryer work?

Much like other air-fryers, the AF400UKWH circulates hot air around food to give it a crisp, 'fried' finish, using little to no oil. Because it's more compact than a standard oven, it's also potentially more energy-efficient as it's capable of heating ingredients more quickly.

There's an option to synchronise both drawers so they finish simultaneously, regardless of the times and temperatures you've set them to. This means you can get all your meal prep done simply and quickly, without having to worry about anything going cold. All the removable parts, like the baskets and the crisper trays, are dishwasher-safe, too.

How to use the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone AF400UKWH air-fryer

When we reviewed the AF400UK in the BBC Good Food test kitchen, we found the manual comprehensive and the set-up straightforward. There are six functions to choose from on the control panel, which include max-crisp, air-fry, roast, reheat, dehydrate and bake.

A default time and temperature will appear when you select a setting, which you customise to your liking using the up-and-down arrows on the display. Simply press the dial in the middle to start the cooking process, and do the same again when you want the air-fryer to stop.

What can you cook in the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone AF400UKWH air-fryer?

Some of the best dishes to cook in the AF400UK include air-fryer favourites like roast potatoes, chicken wings, bacon, and – of course – fries. Other recipes you could try include fish tacos, crispy chilli beef, arancini, and even a whole roast dinner.
