What features are available with LG fridge-freezers?
NatureFRESH™
Available with LG fridge-freezers, including the LG UVnano™ GSLV91MBAC fridge-freezer, NatureFRESH™ tech uses LINEARCooling™ to quickly and precisely control the temperature of your fridge-freezer. It does this by carefully monitoring the airflow, so that your chosen temperature setting never fluctuates by more than half a degree centigrade.
This means that even when the door is continually opened and closed throughout the day, all your groceries will stay cool inside and fresher for longer.
LG's DoorCooling+™ technology also ensures your food stays consistently cool, regardless of where it's stored in the fridge. It works by emitting cold air from the vents by the door to every corner of the fridge, so the fresh juices and milk being kept in the door will stay as chilled as the groceries right at the back.
Other features include Pure N Fresh™ air filters, which are designed to reduce odours using an air filtration system. The system forces odours through a carbon deodoriser using a fan, and then recirculates the treated air. The LG UVnano™ GSLV91MBAC also has an ice dispenser for instant ice at the press of a button.
What features are available with Haier fridge-freezers?
Selected Haier American fridge-freezers, like the Haier Cube 90 Series 5 HCR5919ENMP, feature Fresher Techs® technology, which includes a Humidity Zone and MyZone drawer.
MyZone drawers allow you to store temperature-sensitive foods like meat or seafood at the optimum temperature using simple controls. Keep seafood at 0C, gradually (and safely) defrost frozen meat at -3C, or chill up to five bottles of wine at -1C to +1C in an hour.
The Humidity Zone, on the other hand, focuses on keeping food as fresh as it was when you bought it, using a clever membrane to remove moisture from the air. This prevents condensation from building up and maintains the humidity at 90 per cent, so fruit and veg stays at its best for up to seven days. You can even use the Humidity Zone to store cake and bread.
Haier fridge-freezers benefit from Multi Air-Flow technology too, which distributes cold air via the multi air duct at the back of the cavity. By sending cool air through the vents, the internal climate of your fridge-freezer stays consistent on every shelf, helping to keep groceries fresh – regardless of where they're being kept.
